Twitter shut down third-party tools. TweetDeck fills the gap nicely. Always go with first-party tools when available.

Twitter shut down some third-party professional tools like Tweetbot. It’s a smart business decision… not going to fault them for increasing revenue. I use Twitter a lot professionally to promote my media properties.

TweetDeck, acquired by Twitter a while ago, fills the gap nicely. It’s been improved and will get new features that their new APIs make possible. It’s free too. Check it out.
