The world is moving to short-form videos like TikToks, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Video is grabbing all attention. Why is short-form video so effective and popular now? It’s because the format is fantastic… it’s like watching TV and flipping channels with full-screen video formatted for the device we are using – the smartphone.
If we have a lot of content to show our users but are limited to 1 or 2 minute videos, what can we do? Make more videos. Distill information to its essential core.
How do we approach SEO in this video-first world? Link out. If videos are catchy, create links to longer textual content in video descriptions and bio links. I’ve had success with this in my YouTube video description areas.
